Enjoy a stylish break at its most comfortable in one of our five shepherd's huts, surrounded by Asian animals. Stay as long as you like and get to know your neighbours, including hog deer, Mishmi takin, sambar and barasingha, as they amble past your door. Discover wild adventures as you explore our 600 acre Reserve on your very own golf buggy.
Each of the shepherd's huts sleep 4, you’ll find a comfortable double bed topped with two bunks, facing out over the watering hole of the Asian Experience, whilst the living area has a sofa, wall mounted HD TV, log burner, tea and coffee making facilities and a games cupboard. All the Shepherd’s Huts have an en suite shower room, complete with fluffy towels, bathrobes and complimentary Bamford products.
Set on Port Lympne’s Asian Experience, you and your loved ones can enjoy a natural break, fresh air, incredible sea views and the unlimited feeling of wide open space. After spending the day exploring or visiting our sister park Howletts, near Canterbury, you can relax on the steps of your hut, watching the sunset over the watering hole as the animals settle down for the evening.
Explore the Reserve on your personal golf buggy. Access areas that are not open to the public and see the wild in a different light. Explore the park before official opening hours from 8.30am and enjoy special routes around the park after hours.
Set in a beautiful landscaped garden, at the heart of Port Lympne Reserve, the new Babydoll’s Wood Fired Pizza is sure to delight lovers of authentic Italian cuisine. The stylish restaurant, has been named after the much loved gorilla, Babydoll, who at the grand old age of 55, is the last surviving original Howletts gorilla.
Open every day from 12.00pm to 10.00pm you can relax in the garden, or curl up on the comfy sofas and armchairs on the veranda with a glass of prosecco and a selection of antipasti, before tucking in to a freshly prepared wood fired pizza or pasta dish. We also offer gluten free pizza, alongside a selection of wines, beers and non alcoholic drinks.
Alternativley, book a table at the four star Port Lympne Hotel, just a short buggy ride away or enjoy a meal at the Bear Lodge Clubhouse or Pinewood Café. We use the very best seasonal produce from our own vegetable and herb gardens and locally sourced ingredients wherever we can in our restaurants.
After a day spent exploring the Reserve in your personal golf buggy, why not relax at the Treehouse Clubhouse and enjoy the roaring indoor fire in the winter, or bask in the afternoon sun on the lawns in the summer. You can enjoy a drink from the well-stocked bar, as you chat to your fellow guests and our rangers, or play games and enjoy the warmth of the outdoor fire pits as you toast marshmallows and watch the sun set over the rhino paddocks.

Port Lympne Reserve is home to over 700 animals and 88 species. See these magnificent animals during your stay. With Asian animals right on your doorstep there's plenty to keep you occupied but you can also see wolves, bears, tigers, gorillas, giraffe, zebra and many more.
