The competition is open to residents of the United Kingdom aged 18 years or over except employees of The Howletts Wild Animal Trust, their subsidiaries and their close relatives and anyone otherwise connected with the organisation or judging of the competition.

The Howletts Wild Animal Trust’s decision as to those able to take part and selection of winners is final.

The cost of each raffle ticket is £3.50.

Entrants may buy more than one ticket.

By entering this competition, an entrant is indicating his/her agreement to be bound by these terms and conditions.

Closing date for raffle ticket purchases/entry will be 23:59pm on Wednesday 30th September 2026. After this date no further entries to the competition will be permitted.

The Raffle entries have been capped at 5,714 entries. If the promoter receives this amount of entries the competition will close earlier than the proposed closing date of Wednesday 30th September 2026 and no more raffle ticket purchases will be allowed.

The promoter reserves the right to cancel or amend the competition and these terms and conditions without notice in the event of a catastrophe, war, civil or military disturbance, act of God or any actual or anticipated breach of any applicable law or regulation or any other event outside of the promoter’s control. Any changes to the competition will be notified to entrants as soon as possible by the promoter.

Prize is as follows:
One overnight stay at Port Lympne Hotel and Reserve in a Lion Lodge (for up to four people, to be taken during Port Lympne Illuminated time period – 27th November 2026 – 2nd January 2027 - excludes Christmas Eve / Christmas Day)
Tickets to Port Lympne Illuminated (for up to 4 people - an allocated time slot for Port Lympne Illuminated must be booked at time of booking your stay. Food and Drink at Port Lympne Illuminated are not included in this prize)
A Port Lympne Hotel & Reserve Safari (for up to four people)
Dinner in the Garden Room (up to four people)
Afternoon tea in the Mansion (up to four people)
Breakfast hamper delivered to your Lion Lodge (up to four people)
Use of private golf buggy
Access to Port Lympne Hotel and Reserve on day of arrival and departure, and Howletts Wild Animal Park (seasonal opening hours apply)
The prizes are not transferable and subject to availability. -
One winner will be drawn at random by Thursday 1st October 2026 by The Howletts Wild Animal Trust from all raffle ticket purchases and notified by email. If the winner cannot be contacted or does not claim the prize within 14 days of notification, we reserve the right to withdraw the prize from the winner and pick a replacement winner.

The promoter’s decision in respect of all matters to do with the competition will be final and no correspondence will be entered into.

The competition and these terms and conditions will be governed by English law and any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England.
