Wake up with a rhino at the bottom of the garden with a nightlights package at Rhino Lodge. This renovated former keepers' cottage offers a private garden with views of wandering lechwe and black rhino. In a prime position for easy access to Port Lympne Illuminated, Rhino Lodge's cosy interiors make it the ideal place to celebrate the festive season with friends and family. Your nightlights package includes overnight accommodation at Rhino Lodge, access to Port Lympne Reserve, access to Howletts Wild Animal Park and access to the Port Lympne Illuminated festive light trail!

Sleeping four with an additional bedroom nook (suitable for one child), your cottage has two ensuite bathrooms complete with roll top baths and Molton Brown products. The sitting room has a log burner, games cupboard, record player and TV. On the landing, you’ll find a fridge, snacks, and a nespresso machine.
Location
Rhino Lodge is set at the heart of the Reserve on the main drive to the Port Lympne Hotel. Your private garden has an open fire pit - perfect for toasting marshmallows whilst you take in the incredible views and make friends with your wild neighbours.
Exclusive Access
You will have exclusive access to Port Lympne Hotel & Reserve during and outside of normal visitor hours from the day of your arrival to the day of your departure. The check-in time for your stay is at 2pm and the check-out time is at 12pm. You can visit both wildlife parks - Howletts Wild Animal Park and Port Lympne Hotel & Reserve - from 9.30am to closure (seasonal opening hours apply at Howletts). The use of a golf buggy to explore the Port Lympne Hotel & Reserve (with a valid driving licence), is also included in your stay.
Safari experience
All of our short breaks guests have a truck safari included in the cost of their stay. Your safari will take you on an adventure to see spectacled bears, giraffes, camels and more.

We serve home cooked food made with home grown and locally sourced produce at our restaurants and cafes.

Nightlights packages include full access to our 600-acre Reserve and after sunset you will be invited to step into the secret after-dark world of Port Lympne to celebrate Port Lympne Illuminated. Forest fairies have enchanted the woodland walks and gardens of the Reserve to create a dazzling, illuminated celebration of their animal companions. You will discover a vintage-inspired funfair, fairy disco, delicious food and drink and 13 beautiful lighting installations celebrating the beauty of winter.
Arrival time: From 9:30am on day of booking
Departure time: 2pm on day of check out
Please note: During the Port Lympne Illuminated light trail (2pm onwards) guest access to golf buggies (valid at selected accommodations only) will be restricted to allow the festive fairies to work their enchantment over the Reserve.

Port Lympne Hotel & Reserve is home to over 900 animals and 75 species. See these magnificent animals during your stay. With rhino right on your doorstep there's plenty to keep you occupied but you can also see wolves, bears, giraffe, zebra and many more.
