And if that wasn't enough, we've come up with five must-see highlights that will make your trip truly special...
1. Head out on a thrilling safari
Did you know? Our iconic safari truck adventure is included in your admission ticket! See how many animals you can spot along the way including Kent's only spectacled bears, black, white and Indian rhinos and herds of elegant deer and antelope roaming freely in the Kentish wilderness.
Subject to availability

2. Our new arrival
The adorable porcupette arrived on 2nd April 2025, much to the delight of the animal team. The newest addition is the second offspring for proud parents, Dad Tiombe and Mum Umlilo.
As nocturnal creatures, the porcupines tend to be less active during the day, often sleeping, and become more lively in the afternoons.

3. Swing by Palace of the Apes to visit little Kafele
Our youngest and cheekiest gorilla can't wait to say hello. Head to The Palace of the Apes at 12pm & 3pm for the best chance to see 2 year old Kafele and her family being fed by their keepers, as they scatter some tasty treats into the gorilla garden from the roof of their enclosure.

4. Don’t miss the playful orangutans swinging through their enclosure
16 year old Hadjah and his playful brother, Malou have stolen our hearts since they arrived at the reserve in March last year. Hadjah and Malou are the only Sumatran orangutans in Kent. Although the ultimate goal for Hadjah and Malou will be to eventually rewild them if possible, we are happy to offer them the sanctuary they deserve and we hope you enjoy them as much as we enjoy caring for them.
