Meet the stars of Wild Summer
No visit to Port Lympne is complete without meeting the incredible animals that call the reserve home.
This summer, there are even more reasons to visit...
Meet baby Jude, our adorable giraffe calf
Wild Summer visitors could be among the very first to see Jude, Port Lympne's first giraffe calf born since 2018.
Named after England football star Jude Bellingham, this beautiful Nubian giraffe arrived after a 16-month gestation and represents an important milestone for the international conservation breeding programme.
Standing an impressive 5ft 8in tall at birth, Jude has already become one of the reserve's biggest stars.
Watch the playful Pallas' cat kittens
Deizi, Delbee and Pema are guaranteed to melt hearts as they chase, pounce and tumble around their enclosure.
These curious youngsters are always entertaining visitors and are fast becoming family favourites.
Spot Lima the baby Javan gibbon
Born on Valentine's Day, Lima spends his days swinging confidently through the trees while staying close to mum Belle.
Keep an eye out opposite the Palace of the Apes.
Meet the safari's biggest traffic-stoppers
Every safari has its surprises.
At Port Lympne, those surprises often come in the form of Gucci, Healani and Tuli, our wonderfully curious Bactrian camels, who love taking their time and occasionally bringing safari vehicles to a gentle stop.
See orangutans behaving just like us
Hadjah and Malou (pictured above), our Sumatran orangutan brothers, are always fascinating to watch as they build cosy blanket nests, showing remarkable behaviours that closely resemble those seen in the wild.
Visit one of Europe's largest non drive-through lion enclosures
Hunter, Oudrika and the rest of the pride can often be found relaxing in the sunshine or keeping a watchful eye over their enormous habitat, giving guests incredible opportunities to observe these magnificent big cats.
Enjoy a summer safari like never before
