For Wild Summer 2026, our safari experience has been specially updated with seasonal commentary highlighting summer wildlife behaviours, fascinating conservation stories and key moments from Port Lympne's remarkable 50-year history of breeding and rewilding endangered species. Don't forget to pick up your Summer Safari Spotters' Guide and see how many incredible species you can find along the way.
Step Into Port Lympne's History
Travel through five decades of conservation with our brand-new self-guided heritage trail. Discover hidden stories from around the Reserve, uncover fascinating moments from our history and recreate some of Port Lympne's most iconic photographs. Along the route, guests will have the chance to enter our special "Step Into Port Lympne's History" photo competition by recreating historic images and sharing their memories from the Reserve. It's the perfect way to celebrate 50 years of wildlife conservation while creating memories of your own.
Garden Party on the Mansion Lawns
Throughout Wild Summer, the historic mansion gardens will come alive with vintage-inspired charm. Relax among elegant summer décor, challenge friends and family to traditional lawn games and soak up the atmosphere of a classic English garden party overlooking the Reserve. Feeling peckish? Treat yourself to seasonal summer favourites, including delicious strawberries and cream available from our special pop-up catering outlets.
