Port Lympne Hotel & Reserve is fast on its way to becoming Europe’s first animal focused holiday destination and we are currently seeking a Guest Relations Manager to oversee the daily operation of our Guest Relations Team, who work across various accommodation areas across the Reserve.
Reporting to the Front of House Manager, The Guest Relations Manager will be required to maintain and enhance the guests offering, whilst ensuring our customers receive a seamless experience from start to finish. You will oversee the schedules of the team to ensure they meet the organisations priorities. You will also be responsible for training and developing our team members to ensure they deliver the best customer service experience possible, which includes providing our customers with the latest knowledge, products and services provided by Port Lympne.
Who are we looking for:
You will have of 2-year previous supervisory or managerial experience, working in a highly customer focussed service delivery role with the ability to successfully manage guest complaints. The successful candidate will also require strong, hands-on, leadership skills to ensure the team achieves all brand and company metrics and objectives. You must have previous experience of coaching and developing a diverse team to support the creation of a positive work culture that is focused on excellence, as well as seeking strategies to continuously improve the guest experience. You must have a strong track record of maintaining good working relationships and be a good team player. A driving license is essential for this role.
Contract details:
This is a permanent full-time position, working 40 hours per week, five days out of seven as per the rota. The role is based at Port Lympne Hotel & Reserve near Folkestone and reports directly into the Assistant Front of House Manager. All applicants must have the right to work in the UK. A reliable mode of transport is recommended due to our remote location.
