Rediscover the wild with a family day out at Kent’s original wild animal park this Father's Day. Lose yourself in 90 acres of ancient parkland where you’ll discover some of the world’s most endangered animals, including our giant new arrival, Shaka the bull elephant! Come face to face with gorillas, tigers and monkeys at their large viewing windows for the perfect selfie! For some really wild Father's Day activities, check out our exciting animal encounters and come face to face with your favourite animals!
Alongside all the animal magic, you can explore Animals of the Ice Age - included in your admission! Walk amongst the ice giants and learn incredible facts, which tell the story of the animal kingdom as it was, over 2.6 million years ago. With amazing beasts along the trail, there will be plenty of surprises to keep kids and parents on the lookout.

Animals of the Ice Age
Marvel at the life size prehistoric creatures taking over the Woodland Walk. Wonder at the mighty mammoth, stare at the savage sabre-toothed Smilodon and delight at the sheer size of the giant sloth, plus many more - all included in your admission ticket!

Once you've worked up an appetite it's time to take a break from exploring and enjoy your own feeding time! You'll find tasty hot & cold dishes, including a delicious Sunday roast at our restaurant and cafe or grab a quick snack and a delicious coffee at our seasonal kiosks.

Your ticket will help to fund not only the care of the animals here at Howletts Wild Animal Park but will also support our overseas projects. Thanks to the generosity of visitors like you, we - in conjunction with The Aspinall Foundation (charity number 326567) - have released more than 70 gorillas back to the wild and our released gorillas have had over 35 wild births! In Indonesia, we have released 49 Javan gibbons, 14 Javan grizzled langurs and 148 Javan ebony langurs. The Indonesian primates have over 40 wild births. We have also transferred 8 black rhino from our Kent parks to Africa, who have produced 25 offspring between them. Find out more about our conservation work around the world.

- Offer valid for one free parent admission ticket per online booking to Howletts Wild Animal Park.
- The free ticket is intended for Father’s Day celebrations but is issued as one complimentary parent admission per booking.
- The promotion is valid on Saturday 20th or Sunday 21st June 2026 only.
- This promotion is available for online bookings only and must be redeemed via the official website and cannot be redeemed at the Gatehouse or applied to existing bookings.
- The free ticket must be selected and added to the booking during the online checkout process alongside any other tickets.
- A maximum of one free parent ticket is permitted per booking.
- The free ticket applies to standard day admission only and does not apply to additional paid experiences, animal encounters, Annual Pass purchases, or other products.
- The complimentary ticket does not grant eligibility for a free carer ticket. Visitors requiring a carer ticket must purchase an appropriate concession ticket that includes carer eligibility.
- Annual Pass holders may bring one parent free under this promotion. Pass holders must still pre book the promotional parent ticket online and present their valid Annual Pass on arrival.
- The offer is not valid with any other offer, promotion, or discount, including but not limited to Blue Light Card promotions, third party ticket partners, accommodation packages, or Aspinall Foundation Adoption Passes.
- All online bookings are subject to a £2.40 booking fee (inc VAT) per transaction.
- Tickets remain subject to availability and the promotion may be withdrawn or amended at any time.
- The offer applies only to new bookings made during the promotional period and cannot be applied retrospectively to tickets already purchased.
- We reserve the right to withdraw, amend or end this promotion at any time without notice and to correct errors in pricing, availability or promotional details where they occur.
