As a Wedding & Events Supervisor, you’ll play a key role in creating unforgettable experiences for our guests. You’ll work during booked events to ensure everything runs seamlessly, from start to finish. When events aren’t taking place, you’ll take on a supervisory role in our beautiful Garden Room Restaurant and also support the delivery of our Afternoon Teas in the Mansion.
Who we are looking for:
We’re seeking an experienced supervisor with a passion for weddings, events, and hospitality. The ideal candidate will have a background in both events and restaurant settings, with a genuine drive to deliver outstanding customer service and the ability to inspire a team. Working closely with our Events Operations Manager, you’ll take the lead in running events and ensuring every detail is delivered to the highest standard. When no events are scheduled, you’ll step into a supervisory role within our Garden Room Restaurant and Afternoon Tea service in the Mansion - so experience in these areas will be a real advantage.
You’ll thrive in a fast-paced environment, be an excellent communicator, and know how to bring out the best in your team to create memorable experiences for every guest.
Contract details:
This is a full-time permanent position working 45 hours a week, five days out of seven. TRONC (Service Charge) is received in addition to monthly salary. Working hours may include day shifts, evenings, weekends, holidays, and unsociable hours. A reliable form of transport would be essential due to the remote location of Port Lympne Hotel & Reserve. All applicants must have the right to work in the UK.
