Port Lympne Hotel & Reserve are looking for an organised and detail-driven Wedding & Events Sales Administrator to support the smooth running of our busy sales and events department. From the first enquiry to the final delivery, you’ll play a crucial behind-the-scenes role - ensuring every booking is handled with efficiency, accuracy and exceptional care.
In this varied and fast-paced position, you’ll be managing incoming enquiries, coordinating bookings, preparing essential documentation and keeping our systems and databases up to date. You’ll liaise with clients, suppliers and internal departments, making sure everyone has the information they need and that each event progresses seamlessly through every stage of the planning journey.
Working closely with our department manager’s, you’ll support the wider sales function with first-class administration - from processing payments and updating budget figures to scheduling site visits and preparing for weekly operational meetings.

Who we are looking for:
We’re seeking a highly organised and proactive Wedding & Events Sales Administrator with experience in the conference and events industry. You’ll be confident communicating with clients, suppliers and colleagues, and able to remain calm, professional and solution-focused during busy periods. You’ll excel at managing multiple tasks, maintaining accuracy under pressure, and using hotel property management systems, supported by strong IT skills and great attention to detail. A positive attitude, teamwork, and the ability to prioritise effectively are essential.
Flexibility to work weekends, holidays and nonstandard hours is required, along with a willingness to undertake further training. Knowledge of the company’s offerings, a valid UK driving licence, and familiarity with Opera/Micros or Accesso would be beneficial.
Contract details:
This is a full-time permanent position, 40 hours per week, 9-5pm, five days out of seven, which can include Weekends, evenings, and bank holidays. Reporting to the Event Sales Manager, the position is based at Port Lympne Hotel & Reserve, based near Folkestone and Ashford.
