Port Lympne Hotel & Reserve are recruiting for Operations Operatives, who will be responsible for ensuring that the park’s public areas and facilities are cleaned and maintained to an exceptional standard.
The role of a Stores/Park Operations Operative will involve the receiving and delivery of supplies onto the park from our off-site storage facility, cleaning park facilities, emptying commercial and day visitor waste bins and removing litter, ensuring facilities are stocked and maintained as well as managing the flow of traffic in and out of the visitor car park. You may also be required to coordinate pick-ups with the parks mini-bus driver, help answer visitor queries and assist the park operations team with the daily maintenance of the parks public areas.
Who we are looking for:
Previous experience in a similar role is beneficial, however not essential, as full training will be provided. The successful candidate will require the ability to perform heavy lifting and physical tasks when required. You must be prepared to work outdoors in all weathers and hold a full valid driving licence (including grounds B, BE, B1 as a minimum, manual gearbox), as you will be required to drive company vehicles around the park.
The ability to tow a trailer is desirable.
Contract details:
Full-time, part-time, permanent and seasonal positions available. Seasonal positions will be through to the 31 October 2025. Hours will be allocated on a rota basis, which can include weekends. Rate of pay is £10.18 for under 21-year-olds, and £12.21 for over 21-year-olds. All applicants must have the right to work in the UK. A reliable mode of transport is recommended due to our remote location.
