Howletts Wild Animal Park and Port Lympne Hotel & Reserve are looking for a Sales & Customer Services Executive to join our friendly, vibrant team based at Port Lympne Hotel & Reserve. You’ll work in picturesque, historic surroundings, helping to create memorable experiences for every guest.
In this role, you will handle bookings, sell tickets, passes, dining packages, and animal experiences, and promote upsell opportunities, while responding to enquiries and queries professionally. Using your strong product knowledge, you will convert enquiries into confirmed sales, achieve targets, capture guest feedback, and support the wider team to ensure every visitor enjoys an exceptional experience.
Who are we looking for:
We are seeking a motivated and results-driven Sales & Customer Services Executive with a strong background in customer-focused sales or service roles. The ideal candidate will have at least three years’ experience, a proven record of achieving and exceeding sales targets, and excellent communication skills to build lasting relationships with customers and colleagues. Experience working with schools, groups, or similar markets is a plus. You will be highly organised, detail-oriented, and confident under pressure, with the ability to take initiative, think strategically, and proactively drive sales. Strong IT skills, including Microsoft Office, are essential, and a UK driving licence is desirable.

Port Lympne Hotel & Reserve is a world-renowned wild animal park set within 600 acres of Kentish savannah. The Reserve is home to some of the world’s most rare and endangered animals and offers luxury short breaks accommodation, free roaming animal safaris, once-in-a-lifetime animal encounters and exquisite dining experiences. Most importantly, every one of our employees is part of real conservation in action and their efforts have contributed to animals such as black rhino and western lowland gorillas being returned to their natural habitats in collaboration with our partners at The Aspinall Foundation.
Contract details:
This is a full-time, permanent position. You will be contracted to work 40 hours per week, five days out of seven, which may include bank holidays and weekends as the parks are open seven days per week. The role is based at Port Lympne Hotel & Reserve near Folkestone. All applicants must have the right to work in the UK. A reliable mode of transport is recommended due to our remote location.
