Close Encounters
Visit the Craft Mine to meet some fascinating creatures up close, including bugs and reptiles. If you're brave enough, you could even hold them! Included with your admission ticket.
Activity Trail
Collect your FREE activity trail sheet at the Gatehouse on arrival. Young explorers can follow the clues to find the pawprints hidden around the 90 acre park and crack the code!
Elephant Talks & Feeds
As well as our regular fact-packed animal talks, our team of Rangers will be hosting some extra special talks & feeds with the largest African elephant herd in the UK. Plus, find out how our partner charity, The Aspinall Foundation are preparing the Howletts herd for their journey back to the wild!
World Elephant Day
Did you know? There are 2 sub-species of African Elephant, the bush elephant and forest elephant, and they are both critically endangered!
World Elephant Day on 12th August 2024 aims to raise awareness and support for the conservation of the largest land mammal. Don't miss our Elephant Talks with an expert Ranger to find out about the Howletts herd, their upcoming journey back to the wild and the plight of their wild cousins.
