Halloween adventures can work up a monster appetite. Fortunately, our chefs have been busy brewing, baking and conjuring a frighteningly delicious collection of seasonal specials for October half-term.
From gloriously green mac and cheese to bubbling hot chocolate, you’ll find plenty of family favourites with a playful Halloween twist at the Pavilion and Elephant Cafe. Here’s what’s on the menu for hungry little monsters and their grown-ups.
Warm up with a bowl of something spooky
Crisp autumn days call for a warming bowl of soup - although ours may look as though it has come straight from a witch’s cauldron.

Choose our creamy Witches’ Brew Soup, made with leek and potato and served piping hot with crunchy Witch’s Fingers breadsticks for dipping. Alternatively, try our homemade Pumpkin Soup, blending sweet roasted pumpkin with herbs, a swirl of cream and a spooky crouton.
Both soups are available from the Pavilion for £7.25.
Meet Franken-Mac
Green, gooey and surprisingly delicious, Franken-Mac gives a familiar family favourite a monstrously good makeover.
Our homemade mac and cheese is blended with spinach to give it its unmistakable green colour, without losing any of the creamy, cheesy flavour little monsters love. It comes complete with a slice of pizza garlic bread for dipping, scooping or mopping up every last bite.
Find Franken-Mac at the Pavilion for £9.
Dig into the Jack-o-Fries
No pumpkin carving is required to enjoy our Jack-o-Fries. This generous helping of crispy fries is loaded with cheese sauce and sliced chicken strips, then finished with fresh chives and crunchy onions.
Perfect for refuelling between animal adventures.
Jack-o-Fries are available from the Pavilion for £9.
Brave the Scream Stack
How high can you stack your nachos before they come tumbling down?
The Scream Stack Nachos combine layers of crispy nachos with zesty salsa, cool sour cream, creamy guacamole and smoky bacon bits, finished with a sprinkle of fresh chives.
At £9.50, they make a frighteningly satisfying lunch or a tasty dish to share.
Enter The Bone Yard
Sink your fangs into The Bone Yard Baguette: a freshly baked baguette filled with chicken and crispy onions, topped with melted cheese and oven-baked to ghoulish perfection.
Pick one up from the Pavilion for £8 - no digging required.
Treat yourself to something sweet
It wouldn’t be Halloween without a treat or two.
Our Creepy Cupcake Bites bring bite-sized Halloween fun to the Pavilion and Coffee House for £4.25. You can also pick up a Trick or Treat Selection for £5, filled with a ghoulish mix of Juicy Brains, Popping Eyeballs and Ghostly Marshmallows.

Cosy up with a haunted hot drink
Grown-ups can embrace the flavours of autumn with a Pumpkin Spiced Latte, combining espresso, steamed milk and sweet pumpkin spice beneath whipped cream and a dusting of cinnamon magic.
For something even more indulgent, try our Toffee Apple Hot Chocolate: rich hot chocolate blended with toffee sauce and apple flavour, then topped with whipped cream. Both drinks are available from the Coffee House for £5.70.
Younger guests can warm up with a S’more Steamer for £3.50, featuring warm milk infused with marshmallow and chocolate syrup, whipped cream and biscuit crumb.
