These are the smallest deer in the world and are found in the lower Andes of Chile and Argentina. Pudu are solitary animals that use well-trodden paths and tunnels through the undergrowth to navigate the rainforest to find food, rest and hide from predators. Females give birth to one fawn each year, that will be fully grown in 3 months.
