Six Weeks of Spectacular Summer Fun!
Enjoy six weeks filled with spectacular summer fun from Saturday 22nd July to Sunday 3rd September 2017.
Jump on board a safari truck and journey through the South American, Asian and African Experiences to see hundreds of animals roaming freely. Spot Kent’s only giraffe, including our young babies. Look out for our spectacled bears, lowland tapirs – Tommy and Che and say hello to our baby gorilla, baby rhino and many more adorable new arrivals!
Later, explore the forest that time forgot to discover three acres filled with creatures from the prehistoric ages, including the spine tingling Spinosaurus – the largest predator to walk the earth, plus download the free app and watch as some of the creatures come to life through your phone. Join our expert Dino Rangers for guided walking tours through 360Million years and take part in dino trails to win prizes!
Plus, every day throughout the holidays, visitors can join our Education Presenters for six weeks of spectacular summer fun with animal talks, feeds, activities and crafts. Test your skills to see if you can hang for as long as a gibbon and enjoy themed days including Wildlife Wednesday, Enrichment Thursdays and animal themed weekends.
British Wildlife Day
Every Wednesday throughout the summer holidays, join our Education Presenters in the Conservation Station to make your own bird feeder to take home! Learn more about the fantastic native wildlife and be sure to look out for the numerous bird species, stoats, foxes and other British species that also call Port Lympne home.
Enrichment Thursdays: 3rd, 17th and 31st August 2017
Meet our team at the Conservation Station to help make some enrichment items for our animals! You could find yourself creating scent enrichment for the big cats, building ladders for primates and much more!
