The Howletts Wild Animal Trust, which oversees Howletts Wild Animal Park and Port Lympne Hotel & Reserve, are looking for a SEO & Paid Search Specialist to join our Marketing Team, based at Port Lympne Hotel & Reserve.
The successful candidate will lead on the Marketing Team’s PPC campaign management (including Display), technical SEO, On Page SEO and Off Page SEO, to support the wider team and business objectives. You will execute paid campaigns to deliver against business & channel KPI’s and will be responsible for analysing performance. You will independently manage PPC, Ad Grants accounts, and paid social campaigns in line with best practice, and will be responsible for executing SEO strategies that provide a long-term approach to SEO improvement.
Who are we looking for:
An experienced SEO & Paid Search Specialist who has a great understanding of channels within the digital marketing landscape and how they work alongside Paid Search. You will have extensive experience managing Paid Ad channels, accounts and implementing campaigns, and a strong knowledge of onsite, offsite and technical SEO. You will be confident executing campaigns from brief through to optimisation, and will have a full working knowledge of reporting, campaign management and tracking tools. You will also have extensive experience using social media platforms and PPC campaign software.

Port Lympne Hotel & Reserve is a world-renowned wild animal park set within 600 acres of Kentish savannah. The Reserve is home to some of the world’s most rare and endangered animals and offers luxury short breaks accommodation, free roaming animal safaris, once-in-a-lifetime animal encounters and exquisite dining experiences. Most importantly, every one of our employees is part of real conservation in action and their efforts have contributed to animals such as black rhino and western lowland gorillas being returned to their natural habitats in collaboration with our partners at The Aspinall Foundation.
Contract details:
This position is full time: 40 hours per week, usually worked Monday – Friday 9-5pm. The role is based at Port Lympne Hotel & Reserve near Folkestone and reports directly into the Marketing Manager. You might also occasionally be required to travel to our sister park, Howletts Wild Animal Park. All applicants must have the right to work in the UK. A reliable mode of transport is recommended due to our remote location.
