At Port Lympne Hotel & Reserve, we are looking to expand our team of Restaurant Chefs, who will work in our beautiful, historic hotel & Garden Room Restaurant.
Nestled within 600 acres of the beautiful Kentish savannah, Port Lympne Hotel & Reserve offers an unforgettable setting where nature meets luxury. The Garden Room Restaurant, housed in what was once the mansion’s stable yard, is an inviting, contemporary space where seasonal menus burst with fresh, bold flavours using the finest local ingredients.
As a Restaurant Chef, you’ll play a key role in delivering exceptional dining experiences.
Your duties will include:
•Setting up and preparing your section, following recipes and specifications for daily dishes and special events.
•Managing stock, placing orders, and ensuring your section is tidy, organised, and ready for the next day.
•Assisting with prep, cooking, cleaning, and overall kitchen upkeep.
•Supporting the kitchen team in creating delicious, fresh meals for our guests.
What We're Looking For:
•Previous experience in a busy, fast-paced kitchen.
•Ability to work independently and lead junior staff members with confidence.
•Passion for fresh, locally sourced ingredients and an eye for detail.
Contract details:
You will earn above your salary with additional service charge. We offer flexible or guaranteed hours contracts, up to 45 hours per week depending on occupancy. All candidates must have the right to work in the UK.
