The Aspinall Foundation have released 8 black rhino, 135 primates, 11 European bison, and over 70 western lowland gorillas, and 2 Cheetah successfully back to the wild around the world. Bringing species back from the brink of extinction! We also protect over 1 million acres of prime wildlife habitat from poaching and destruction. The Aspinall Foundation team are climbing Kilimanjaro in February to raise vital funds to continue this vital conservation work saving rare and endangered animals from extinction.
Kilimanjaro is the highest mountain in Africa, rising majestically from the savannahs of Tanzania, it soars above the clouds at a height of 5,895m. On this trip you will journey through the stunning African rainforest and pristine ecosystems of the mountain to the snow-capped summit where you will be greeted by a breath-taking sunrise over the African Plains. This is an experience you’ll truly cherish forever.
