You'll find plenty of picnic areas marked on your map of the park, where you can bask in the sun or find a shady spot under the trees to enjoy your home made feast, or food from our kiosks and cafes.
Animals like ice lollies too!
You might be lucky enough to see some of our animals enjoying cooling treats when you visit this summer! Our dedicated keepers and volunteers make frozen fruit, veg and juice treats for the herbivores and even blood lollies for the carnivores! As well as the ponds in their enclosures some of our water loving animals also enjoy a cold shower!
