Early Easter Treats
Animals at Howletts Wild Animal Park, near Canterbury in Kent were very ‘eggcited’ when keepers provided some early Easter themed treats for them, in the form of lovingly made papier- mache eggs.
The eggs, some filled with delicious treats, were given to a variety of animals including the African elephants, Arina the Amur tiger and the honey badgers.
The brightly coloured eggs received a mixed reaction with Arina choosing to pop hers, whilst the elephants rolled their eggs around with their trunks. The honey badgers decided to save their egg for later and hid it in their den.
Meanwhile, Howletts have announced that their programme of free animal talks and activities for the Easter holidays will be extended until Sunday 23rd April.Save 20% when you book online
