Howletts & Port Lympne
In light of the recent government advice regarding COVID-19 It is with a heavy heart that we will be closing Port Lympne Hotel & Reserve and Howletts Wild Animal Park to the public and will remain closed until at least 24th April 2020. We are in contact with the relevant authorities and will work to reopen both parks to guests as soon as it’s appropriate to do so.
We will be contacting Port Lympne Hotel & Reserve guests with bookings to stay between 23rd March and 24th April 2020 to advise them on next steps.
As a charity, we appreciate your support and understanding. This is an unprecedented situation but please rest assured that we are committed to the well being of our guests, visitors, animals and teams here in Kent and overseas.
If you have a short break booking for Port Lympne Hotel & Reserve, please visit this page for more information.
We need your help
With an annual food bill of at least £1.5M the decision to close our parks risks impacting the wellbeing of the animals in our care. We are appealing to our guests, members and friends to make a donation to support us in this incredibly challenging time.
You can also support the animals in our care by purchasing an essential item from our Amazon Wish List, or donating anything from the below list:
- Herbal tea
- Nuts & seeds
- Fresh meat or fish
- Nut butters
If you have a donation to support our animals, please complete the enquiry form below.
