Howletts Wild Animal Park near Canterbury launched its popular ‘Treetop Challenge’ in 2010. Customers experience a fun and exhilarating adventure as they negotiate the giant obstacle course of rope bridges, ladders, tight ropes all high up in the tree tops with a zip wire finale back to the ground.
We require an enthusiastic and physically fit individual with a ‘head for heights’ to lead the team of up to 5, manage the course, conduct health and safety checks, and organise rotas. The job holder will also be required to conduct some light maintenance tasks during the winter such as painting and deep cleaning. Maintenance experience is not required.
Previous experience in a similar role is preferred but not essential as full training will be provided. You must be a customer orientated people person with the ability to provide an unforgettable and fun experience for our guests.
The role will be an average of 30 hrs per week, worked over 5 days a week, you will be required to work most weekends and all bank holidays.
