Port Lympne Hotel & Reserve works in conjunction with The Aspinall Foundation, a charity committed to protecting rare and endangered animals from extinction through captive breeding and reintroduction programmes.
As part of our COVID-19 measures and to provide peace of mind to our visitors, we are taking all possible actions to ensure their safety whilst they visit. As part of these measures at Port Lympne Hotel & Reserve, near Hythe, we require queue attendants to help manage the queue and direct visitors. You will check visitor bookings and liaise with the gate house to ensure the smooth flow of visitors into the park. You will also be required to answer queries, and help in the gift shop when necessary, ensuring the shops are stocked and kept clean and tidy.
We are looking for motivated individuals who understand the importance of excellent customer service. You should be a confident communicator; able to stay calm under pressure and remain courteous when dealing with difficult situations.
It is also important that you are a team player who can also work on their own innovative.
Applicants must be willing to work flexible hours and available to work weekends, bank holidays and school holidays. Previous experience is a customer facing role would be beneficial however training will be provided. This is a Temporary role until 31 October 2020.
A reliable form of transport is recommended due to the remote location of the park. All applicants must have right to work in the UK.
