Port Lympne Hotel & Reserve, in conjunction with the Aspinall Foundation, is a charity-based organisation committed to protecting rare and endangered animals from extinction through captive breeding and reintroduction programmes. The parks are home of one of the world’s most prized wild animal collections and are one of the biggest visitor attractions in Kent.
At Port Lympne Hotel & Reserve we are currently recruiting for Food & Beverage Assistants to work in two of our unique restaurants situated in and around the exceptional surrounding of a Wild Animal Park. We have permanent and seasonal positions available as well as full time and part time roles, this would be an ideal opportunity for individuals looking to gain experience in the hospitality industry or students looking for work over the summer.
If a seasonal position would suit you, you will be working in our Bear Lodge Clubhouse Restaurant. Bear Lodge is a family orientated glamping experience with views over our spectacled Bears enclosure and out to the coast. The ideal candidate will be friendly and outgoing and able to make the difference between a good meal out and a great one. These positions are available from March until November, with shifts available for breakfast or evenings as well as weekends and bank holidays.
If a permanent position is what you’re looking for, then you will be working in Babydoll’s Wood Fired Pizza Restaurant which requires Food & Beverage assistants to join their dedicated team. You will be working in the fast-paced, busy restaurant, set in the beautiful landscaped gardens at the heart of Port Lympne Hotel & Reserve. Full time and part time positions are available with shifts which cover breakfast, day or evenings, as well as weekends and bank holidays.
For both locations, we are looking for reliable team members who are, literate, numerate and well presented, who will provide an exceptional level of service to our guests. You must be enthusiastic and passionate about delivering first class customer service and have the confidence to use your own initiative when needed.
Previous customer service experience is preferred but not essential, as full training will be given. A reliable form of transport would be essential due to the remote location of Port Lympne Hotel & Reserve. All applicants must have the right to work in the UK.
