Public Area Cleaning Attendant - Fixed Term
As part of our COVID-19 measures and to provide peace of mind to our guests, the park is taking all possible actions to ensure their safety whilst they visit. As part of these measures we will be increasing the levels of cleaning across the parks, including the public toilets situated around parks.
We are looking for individuals to join our teams of dedicated cleaning assistants, whose role will be to ensure that the toilet facilities are cleaned on a single use frequency as described below.
As part of this important role; you will be station at one of our toilet facilities to ensure only one cubical is used at a time and to manage the queue to allow access to the toilets. After each use and before the next member of the public enters, the attendant will clean and disinfect areas of the cubical such as the toilet handle, cistern, seat, tissue dispenser, cubicle handle, door edge, hand towel dispenser, sink surrounds, taps and toilet door handles.
You will also be responsible for checking your station and the stock of your station each morning and at the end of the day and advising the COVID-19 cleaning supervisor of any stock requirements.
Health & Safety
Your health & safety is paramount to us, so you will be required to wear appropriate PPE whilst working in this role. Therefore, you will be provided with supplies which will include:
- Latex or vinyl disposable gloves
- Disposable face masks
- Alcohol hand rub
- Red & blue cloths for cleaning surfaces
- Bulk disinfectant for refilling spray bottle
- Spray bottle for cleaning
Previous experience in a similar role is beneficial, however not essential as full training will be provided.
This is a full time, fixed term position until 31 August 2020, working 40 hours per week, 5 days out of 7. Days will be worked on a rota basis and may include weekends. Hours of work are 9:00am until 5:00pm. All applicants must have the right to work in the UK.
