We are looking to recruit an experienced administration person to man our general office and reception at Port Lympne Reserve on Sundays, plus possible bank holidays. You may also be asked to cover weekdays for holiday cover too.
The role involves a wide range of general administration duties which include dealing with customer phone and e-mail enquiries, passing on messages to the Port Lympne staff and animal keepers via radio, responding to the trade gate intercom to allow access to a range of external suppliers and hotel guests, meet and greet mansion hotel guests, taking bookings from the public for our animal experiences and dealing with cash floats for internal catering and retail outlets.
You will need previous experience in an administration role, be competent in the use of Microsoft Word, Office, Excel and Outlook, have an excellent and welcoming phone manner, good interpersonal skills and be comfortable manning the main office on your own without supervision but with support from the Part time receptionist and park’s Duty Manager. Previous experience in a reception position would be an advantage.
Training in the role will be provided by the office manager during two weekdays until the candidate is fully trained.
After training the role is one day a week; Sundays, plus possible bank holidays, 08.30am to 5pm. We are looking for someone who can start immediately.
