Port Lympne Reserve works in conjunction with The Aspinall Foundation, a charity committed to protecting rare and endangered animals from extinction through captive breeding and reintroduction programs and is home to the Multi Award-Winning African Safari Experience where guests stay in our luxury accommodation.
At Port Lympne Reserve we require Chefs for a new Italian restaurant which will serve our day visitors & guests staying at our Short Breaks overnight accommodation.
We are looking for motivated individuals who understand the importance of excellent customer care and can deliver a high standard of service and food. Applicants must be willing to work flexible hours in a fast paced and demanding commercial environment.
An experienced chef who has led a catering team is essential, ideally with previous experience of working in a high end pasta/pizzeria required. A Food Hygiene Certificate is essential. Job responsibilities include day to day cooking and cleaning tasks and the upkeep of the kitchen to a safe and legal standard. Environmental Health and company policy standards must be maintained to at all times.
Ideally you will be calm under pressure, and able to deliver a high standard of customer service.
The post is permanent. 40 hour a week which include evenings, weekends and Bank Holidays.
