Port Lympne Hotel & Reserve, in conjunction with the Aspinall Foundation, is a charity-based organisation committed to protecting rare and endangered animals from extinction through captive breeding and reintroduction programmes. The parks are home of one of the world’s most prized wild animal collections and are one of the biggest visitor attractions in Kent.
At Port Lympne Hotel & Reserve we are currently recruiting permanent Food & Beverage Assistants to work at our exceptional restaurant Bear Lodge Clubhouse Restaurant, which is situated in the exceptional surroundings of the Wild Animal Park. This would be an ideal opportunity for individuals looking to gain experience in the hospitality industry or students looking for work over the summer.
Bear Lodge is a family orientated glamping experience with views over our spectacled Bears enclosure and out to the coast. The ideal candidate will be friendly and outgoing and able to make the difference between a good meal out and a great one.
Shifts will be available on a flexible basis to cover breakfast or evenings as well as weekends and bank holidays.
We are looking for reliable team members who are, literate, numerate and well presented, who will provide an exceptional level of service to our guests. You must be enthusiastic and passionate about delivering first class customer service and have the confidence to use your own initiative when needed.
Previous customer service experience is preferred but not essential, as full training will be given. A reliable form of transport would be essential due to the remote location of Port Lympne Hotel & Reserve. All applicants must have the right to work in the UK.
