Port Lympne Hotel & Reserve works in conjunction with The Aspinall Foundation, a charity committed to protecting rare and endangered animals from extinction through captive breeding and reintroduction programs and is home to the Multi Award-Winning African Safari Experience where guests stay in our luxury accommodation at Livingstone Lodge, Bear Lodge, our exclusive Lion Lodge and Tiger Lodge.
At Port Lympne Hotel & Reserve we require an Apprentice Chef to join our kitchen team. The successful applicant will be working within our mansion restaurant which offers high end dining to our day visitors, accommodation guests and our award-winning wedding and events.

As an Apprentice Chef you will be learning to prepare a consistent, high quality food product in order to provide guests with a memorable dining experience. As part of the program, you will be spending time in each area of our kitchen, as well as working towards Professional Chef Apprenticeship – Commis Chef Standard. We are looking for a people focused, team player, curious and proactive Apprentice Chef to work alongside our Kitchen Team. With your natural social skills, dedication and your passion to achieve the best, you will be part of a strong, fun and vibrant team. Ideally you will be calm under pressure, and able to deliver a high standard of customer service.
The position is a minimum of 30 hours per week which include evenings, weekends and Bank Holidays.
A reliable mode of transport is recommended due to our remote location. All applicants must have right to work in the UK.
