Our cat collection ranges from supersized to small here at Port Lympne Wild Animal Park in Kent.
Some of these smaller furry felines are cousins to the everyday domestic cat found living amongst us, while others look more than a little like miniature versions of their giant exotic cousins! However, not all of our feline guests are from the far flung reaches of faraway lands. We’re proud to be part of a conservation effort to protect one of the UK’s own threatened species; the Scottish wildcat, and have a number of these here at the park.
Small cat species can be so familiar to us that we may sometimes forget their wild roots. Often secretive and elusive, it’s worth the little extra time and patience to catch a glimpse of them creeping furtively through their leafy enclosures. See how many you can spot during your next visit to Port Lympne Wild Animal Park!
