Following the sell-out success of our One Day Wildlife Photography Courses in 2011, we are now offering you a brand new experience that you won't find anywhere else in the UK!
Spend the first part of your day in the park with a professional photographer then go out on safari where you will have unprecedented access to animals such as giraffe, zebra, black rhino and wildebeest followed by an overnight stay at the award winning Livingstone Lodge, which includes a five course African meal served in the authentic Laapa.
Itinerary
Arrive at Port Lympne Wild Animal Park for
- 8.30 for 9.00 Welcome and check in
- Tea and Coffee along with a Health and Safety briefing
- 09.00 - 09.30-On a foot safari
- 12.00 - Arrive at the greatest of the apes enclosure; the Western Lowland Gorillas, where the now famous Ambam resides
- 12.30 - Stop for lunch at Basecamp and then go on foot to see the Black and white Colobus Monkeys which are always popular
- 14.30 - 15.00 A visit to the Palace of the Apes, home to our family group of Western Lowland Gorillas
- 15.30 Take the Bush Taxi (a specially constructed open-sided Land Rover) to enable you to get that perfect shot. Travel through the African Experience safari stopping at every available opportunity to photograph Zebra or Wildebeast grazing quietly, watched intently by rhino, giraffes, and ostrich to name a few
- 18.00 Arrive at the Livingstone lodge
- 19.00 Make your way to the Laapa for an authentic African dining experience with your fellow photographers
The expert photographer will be on hand throughout the whole experience to answer any questions and give advice on achieving the perfect picture. A full English breakfast is available in the morning and after a shorter safari guests are free to spend the rest of the day exploring the park. Prices start from £440.00 for this unique experience for non passport holders and £400 for passport holders.

These 4 new dates take place on the Tuesday night of every week during August 2012.
For the event to go ahead we ask for a minimum of 5 guests and a maximum of 9 (Please note the Cheetah tent has a four poster double bed for 2 sharing, which comes with a premium of an extra £50).
This is an adult event so the minimum age is 17.
