We stayed at Port Lympne Zoo in the new Pods, it was an amazing time and will definately visit again soon. The shower and toilet facilities are very clean and spotless. The staff are very helpful and take the time to explain any queries regarding the zoo and the animals. The pods were fantastic, heated and comfortable. A very magical time, we booked AAA safaris experience and was able to feed the giraffs and a Rhino. The safari guide explained all about the care and past present and future of the adorable animals, he was very knowledgeable.

We stayed overnight in 2 of the Pinewood Pods and it was amazing. We bought food and a BBQ pack from Barney in the café (who was very helpful and friendly) and had our own bbq outside the pod. Everyone was welcoming and friendly. The pods were immaculate and very cosy, we will definitely go back for another stay. Just across from the pods is the Cheetah enclosure and you can hear other animals as you settle down for the night. Shower and toilet block is very clean too. I was lucky enough to have been gifted with a Keeper for the day experience and chose the primates to work with. Matt and Mel, 2 of the primate keepers, who I worked along side with all day were so friendly and welcoming and I only wish I lived closer so I could volunteer there. Anyone thinking of paying a visit here should definitely do it. Love the fact that the animals are not shut in cages and are more like in their natural environment. They also have a conservation program and release some of the animals back into their natural environment.
