Temperatures soared this weekend hitting 29° C and keepers at Howletts and Port Lympne Wild Animal Parks in Kent took the opportunity to provide enrichment for the animals whilst helping them keep cool.

Tigers enjoyed water baths, whilst primates were treated to ice lollies.

Adrian Harland Animal Director said: ‘This weather is fantastic and challenges our staff to provide stimulation that encourages the animals to be active but to stay cool at the same time.'
