The grasslands at Port Lympne Wild Animal Park near Ashford will be the venue for a number of boot fairs organised by 1st Cheriton Scout Group in a bid to raise funds for The Aspinall Foundation – the conservation charity which works in conjunction with the wild animal park in Kent.
The boot fairs will take place monthly, over selected weekend dates, during the summer starting from Saturday 31st May and Sunday 1st June. Stallholders will be expected to pay a nominal fee for their pitch and the grasslands will be open early for sellers allowing them time to unpack before the bargain hunters are allowed entry at 7.30
Sarah Tite, Fundraising Manager, The Aspinall Foundation commented ‘Boot fairs are a great way to declutter your house or garage and earn some extra cash in the process and all whilst raising money to help save endangered species around the world.’
Further fairs will be held on the weekends 31st May & 1st June, 28th & 29th June,
26th & 27th July, 30th & 31st August and 20th & 21st September
No pre booking is required just turn up on the day. We have toilets on site for the sellers and visitors to use and any dogs must be kept on leads at all times. Sorry no caterers.
