Passport Holder Day - Howletts

To say thank you for your continued support over the year we have arranged a day of special activities just for you, our Passport and Gold Card holders!  Save the date in your diaries for a day of talks and activities, meet keepers and enjoy a great day out - all included in your Passport ticket and just for you!

As well as a packed programme of special talks and activities, we're offering one year's FREE renewal of their Passport for every 250th Passport holder admitted on Sunday 12th January - it could be you!  Passport holders will also receive 10% of catering and Farm Shop purchases and 20% off retail purchases.

There is no need to book, just turn up on Sunday 12th January with your Passport (or renew or purchase your Passport on arrival) to begin your fun-filled day of talks and activities.

If you have a Port Lympne Passport or Gold Card be sure to check out the Port Lympne event on Saturday 11th January at our sister park, Nr Ashford - or buy your Passport on the day!

What's on?

Elephant House Tours                                                                                                            

Head straight to The Education Centre, opposite the Amur tigers to sign up for this tour as places are limited.

Elephant House Tour at 12pm, with a maximum of 20 people. The tour will last around 20 minutes.  Please meet at the Elephant Bandstand, 5 minutes before the tour commences.

Subject to availability. Tour time subject to change.

 

Every 250th Passport or Gold Card Holder through the entrance will get one year’s free renewal!

Winners will be announced on our Facebook page the following week, so keep a look out! Winners will then be contacted by post, phone or email.

 

Primate Enrichment Session: 10:00am-10:30am

At The Education Centre - enrichment workshop sessions to last for approx 30 mins.  Come join us to help make our lion tailed macaques a New Year treat!

Enrichment activities will include making parcels filled with treats, to be given to the macaques at an advertised time during the day - check the posters around the park for times to be sure you don't miss it!

NB. Although this activity does not involve using nuts, we can not guarantee that food used has not been stored/produced in an area containing nuts. Gloves and hand wash will be provided.

 

Gorilla Enrichment Session: 10:30am-11:30am. Follow the signs to the Education Centre.  

The two Enrichment sessions will last for approx 30 mins each and will start at 10:30am and 11:00 am promptly. Come and give our gorillas something to keep them entertained!

Enrichment activities will include making small food parcels, which the gorillas will enjoy later in the day!   Check the posters around the park for times to be sure you don't miss it!                                                                                                                                            .
