Mothers Day Lunch - 18th March
The Mansion & Gardens at Port Lympne near Ashford is putting on a special three course menu for Mothers Day this March within the historic mansion - not normally open to the public.
Nestled in the heart of Port Lympne Wild Animal Park, the mansion is the perfect location to celebrate Mothers Day this year. Work up an appetite by taking a safari to view the animals wandering freely as if on the plains of Africa and later stroll around the rest of the park to see western lowland gorillas, Barbary lions, tigers, elephants and many more.
Delicious dishes on offer include homemade paté, creamy leak and potato soup or traditional prawn cocktail to start, followed by a choice of tomato tarte tartin, pan fried cod, roasted sirloin of beef or roast loin of pork - all served with fresh seasonal vegetables. A tempting trio of desserts including raspberry layered shortbread, opera gateau and praline filled profiterole provide a perfect pudding to round off the meal. Download the Mother's Day Lunch Menu
