My family and I had the pleasure of staying in the Elephant lodge for the weekend with friends. What a fantastic experience and our first 'glamping'!!!
The animals and tour were excellent. We stayed in one of the lodges which was truly a memorable experience and one our children wont forget. The facilities were excellent. The restaurants were first class with a South African Braii serving freshly BBQ beef fillet and enormous King Prawns. The staff couldn't do enough for us. The second night we ate in the Mongolian BBQ. Again another fantastic meal. The chef was superb and gave me the recipe for his Thai sauce!
The tent catered for every need with hot showers, electricity and duck down duvets. The views outside our tent were breathtaking. I would estimate on a clear day you could see 20 miles of the Kent coast.
We will definitely visit again.
Spent a long weekend as a family (and friends) staying at the new Elephant Lodge Glamping Experience. The whole weekend, apart from the typically British summer weather, was fantastic.
Although there were 8 of us, all over 16, staying in one of the Elephant Lodge 'tents' this was fine for 3 nights. The evening activities were excellent and enthralled the 4 teenagers as well as the adults and the Mongolian barbecue was a great hit. During the day we had free access to the wild animal park and it's sister park near canterbury. Would certainly go again and I am already recommending it to colleagues and friends.
