Posted by The Aspinall Foundation on 13-Nov-2015 17:00:00

The Port Lympne Challenge is an all new event for 2016 which will see runners taking to the Grasslands and walkways of Port Lympne Reserve. The run takes place before the Reserve opens to the public and you will experience the sights and sounds of the Reserve waking up for the day.

This all new 4.8km route takes you around the Grasslands adjacent to our car park before you enter Port Lympne Reserve itself which will then see you run between our rhino paddocks, then down past our bachelor groups of gorillas, after this you will head along past our family of tapirs. Then the ascent back to the top of the park begins, passing our world famous collections of primates before the magnificent Palace of the Apes comes into view! The route continues past the binturong enclosure and up past our large family of baboons. The last big push will see you head up the hill and back out to the Grasslands  where you will cross the finish line and receive your medal!

Just £15 to enter, and if you raise just £30 in sponsorship you will receive one free ticket to enjoy the rest of the day at the fantastic Port Lympne Reserve!  By entering and raising sponsorship you are helping animals such as gorillas, rhinos, langurs and gibbons go back to the wild.
