AAP Face to Face Fundraising

AAP Fundraising is delighted to enter the ‘direct approach' market, and brings with it a unique business model. Its first client - The Aspinall Foundation - is also its parent company, and therefore the beneficiary of all its profits.

AAP's goal is to become the leading supplier of street, door and prospecting fundraising services to the UK charity sector. Gareth Moore, formerly of Face2Face Fundraising UK and his experienced team last week launched a street campaign on behalf of The Aspinall Foundation.

Bob O'Connor, Managing Director of The Aspinall Foundation said:

"The Aspinall Foundation has been using face to face fundraising as an integral part of its strategy for over 5 years. I have been very impressed by Gareth Moore's fundraising for my charity and when he approached me with this exciting business venture I could see the huge benefit of running our own face to face business. As a charity who has used direct approach fundraising ourselves for many years, we believe we are now in a unique position to provide an excellent service to other charities after all, we know what they want!"

"The Aspinall Foundation, will now receive a double income from AAP. We will benefit from our own donors' monthly payments, as well as from all profits from our new venture's other charity clients.  This will really make a difference in our ability to continue funding major conservation projects around the world."

AAP will recruit quality long-term givers, and has partnered with a professional telephone fundraising provider to deliver a product that is both recruitment and donor-development focused.  They will ensure that donors are welcomed and nurtured to deliver the very best lifetime value.  In what can be a transient market, this new provider will be long-stay; just like the donors they recruit.

Gareth Moore, Director of AAP, said of the new relationship:

"I am very excited to be heading up this unique new venture, and I am sure that the market will react very favourably, in particular to our ownership status. It is reassuring for my team and I to know that rather than enriching a private shareholder, success at AAP will enrich and protect the lives of the most endangered species on the planet. In what is still a challenging fundraising environment, I am confident that the passion, creativity and professionalism of AAP fundraisers will shine through, ensuring that a wide spectrum of UK charities receive essential funds to take on long-term projects."

Gareth is supported by a dedicated team with a combined experience of more than 25 years in street fundraising.  AAP is keen to speak to charities interested in direct approach fundraising, whether this is something new to them, or a key part of their on-going fundraising strategy.
